Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage the company’s Quality Control (QC) program.
- Perform and oversee welding inspections in compliance with AWS, ASME, and other applicable codes.
- Review welding procedures, qualifications, and documentation.
- Ensure proper material traceability, documentation, and record-keeping.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and project management teams to resolve quality issues.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and corrective action for non-conformances.
- Act as the primary liaison with clients, auditors, and regulatory agencies regarding quality matters.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maintain and enhance quality standards.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification required.
- 2+ years of experience in quality control within manufacturing, steel fabrication, or industrial services.
- Strong knowledge of welding codes (AWS, ASME, API, etc.) and inspection techniques.
- Proven leadership and management experience.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
